Information stored on your device

The app may store transactions, wallet history, budgets, goals, net worth items, investment records, tax planning entries, retirement, education and insurance planning inputs, remittance and family-support records, settings, notes, labels, categories, and other records you create.

This data powers calculations, summaries, charts, planning views, and privacy controls. It stays local unless you choose a feature that requires network processing.

Account and authentication data

If you create an account or sign in, TESORIN may process your email address, user ID, authentication session, account status, password reset details, and sign-in provider information.

TESORIN currently uses Supabase for authentication and account management. If you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide your email address and sign-in token. TESORIN does not receive your Google password.

Optional encrypted backup

If enabled, TESORIN may create an encrypted backup file in your Google Drive account so you can restore app data after changing phones, reinstalling, or losing local records.

Backups may include financial and planning information you entered. Deleting the app or TESORIN account may not automatically delete those Drive files.

Market lookup

When you search for an investment, fund, ticker, exchange rate, or similar item, the query may be sent to a market data provider or TESORIN-controlled service to return relevant results. Market lookup is not used for advertising.

AI-assisted features

AI features, if enabled, are informational only and are not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or insurance advice. Information needed to answer your request may be processed by a TESORIN-controlled backend or service provider.

Do not enter bank passwords, card numbers, full account numbers, government IDs, one-time passwords, or highly sensitive information into AI prompts.

Information we do not intentionally collect

• Online banking passwords.
• Credit card or debit card numbers.
• Full bank account numbers.
• Social Insurance Numbers, Social Security Numbers, Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or similar government identifiers.
• Precise GPS location.
• Biometric data.
• Contact lists.
• SMS or call logs.
• Health records, photos, videos, audio files, or calendar events.

If a future feature requires additional sensitive information, TESORIN will disclose that before collection.

How information is used

• Provide app functionality, calculations, summaries, and planning views.
• Authenticate users and manage accounts.
• Save and restore preferences.
• Provide optional backup, restore, market lookup, and AI features where enabled.
• Improve reliability, security, performance, and usability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
• Comply with applicable law and platform requirements.

Service providers and disclosures

TESORIN may use providers for authentication, hosting, Google sign-in or optional backup, market data, support, email, diagnostics if enabled, and AI processing if enabled.

Providers may process data only to support TESORIN functionality. TESORIN may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

Analytics and diagnostics

TESORIN may use privacy-conscious diagnostics to understand crashes, performance, and reliability. If enabled, this may include crash logs, device model, operating system version, app version, performance information, and basic app interaction data.

Diagnostics should not intentionally include financial values, transaction descriptions, bank details, access tokens, account names, or private notes. If these tools change, TESORIN will update this policy and Google Play Data Safety information as required.

Security

TESORIN uses reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS, secure authentication sessions, local device storage for financial records, secure storage for sensitive app material, encrypted optional backups, and limited collection.

No app, device, or online service can guarantee perfect security. Protect your device with a passcode, biometric lock, and updated operating system.

Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, uninstall, or use an available deletion feature. Account information may be retained as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Google Drive backups remain in your Drive account until deleted. Limited information may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or accounting reasons.

Account and data deletion

You can request account deletion in the app where available, at delete-account.html, or by emailing [email protected].

When completed, TESORIN deletes the sign-in account and associated account metadata it controls unless limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, compliance, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Account deletion may not remove local-only device data, Google Drive backup files, or data you exported or shared outside TESORIN.

Your choices

You may delete local records, request account deletion, delete optional backup files, turn off optional features, contact support, or stop using TESORIN. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or object to certain processing.

Children, international processing, and updates

TESORIN is intended for adults managing personal financial information. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us.

Data may be processed in countries where TESORIN or its service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

TESORIN may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes may be communicated through the website, updated effective date, or in-app notice where appropriate.
